The problem
Whisper Sister is a speakeasy cocktail bar in Tallinn’s old stock exchange building, serving new favourites and timeless classics. You can’t get in without knowing the secret code. The idea comes from the hidden bars of New York a century ago.
The bar already had a beautiful handwritten logo, but it was long. Whisper Sister needed a short version of its logo that works anywhere, down to the smallest items.
The solution
We built the new mark from elements of the existing long logo, so the whole concept stays one piece: just as the bar takes its cue from the secret bars of the 1920s, the new mark takes its cue from the bar’s own logo.
The short logo brings the spirit of the era and the bar’s character together. It looks fresh and archaic at the same time, and it works on every medium and material, including the coasters guests lift their cocktails from. Cheers!
