Reshape website

The problem

Reshape is an architecture bureau in Tallinn. The team takes projects from the first sketch to working drawings, coordinates other designers and creates 3D visualisations.

Reshape wanted to reach property developers rather than small private clients. The website had to look young, innovative and professional, playful but precise. The architects came to the first meeting with their own vision for it: the site should stay relevant for two to five years, and its animation should be about building, rebuilding and rethinking. The team also wanted to add new projects themselves.

The solution

We started with a simple priority guide. It set the order of the homepage: a contact button in the header, then the hero, who Reshape is, selected projects, the process and the team. The projects page got filters by building type, with competitions set apart as their own category.

The hero puts the idea on screen. The headline reads “Mõtestame ümber arhitektuuri” (rethinking architecture), next to the line “Muutuv ruum → püsiv visioon” (changing space → lasting vision). Above it floats a 3D scene built with Three.js: black beams at different depths and a single orange cube. Move the mouse and the camera follows, so you see the beams from a new angle. On phones and tablets, the scene moves on its own.

An early version of the site assembled the RESHAPE wordmark from fragments. The final version took the same idea into three dimensions.

The design is black and white, so the buildings get the attention. Headlines are set in Neue Power, a heavy display typeface with more character than the minimalist font Reshape used before. One orange accent, the third colour the team asked for, marks the full stops and the cube. The site runs on WordPress with a custom theme, so the bureau can add new projects itself.

The results

The new reshape.ee went live in autumn 2025. Developers can now browse Reshape’s work by building type, from the Joik production building to the Häädemeeste Coop store, and reach the team from any page with one click.
