The problem
Gamecan is a game development studio in Pärnu, Estonia. At the time, it was growing fast and kept bringing in new talent, most of it from around the world. For these candidates, the website was a key source of information, but the old site had outlived its purpose.
The solution
We started with a thorough analysis of users’ goals and needs. We surveyed the Gamecan team, analysed the results and mapped the user flows of the old site. This gave us a clear persona and the exact information they need. Candidates mostly visit on desktop, so we focused the design there and deliberately made the mobile version easier to navigate. At every step, the site guides visitors towards contacting Gamecan, while small details speak directly to the persona.
The results
In April 2024, the website received an Honorable Mention from Awwwards, one of the best-known web design awards in the world.
