Kristiine Centre solar lift

The problem

Kristiine Centre has made building a sustainable community and using renewable energy its own cause. All of the centre’s lifts and escalators run on solar energy. The centre wanted to communicate this clearly, in a way people notice and remember.

The solution

We turned the centre’s lift into a beautiful Estonian bog. The walls and doors show a wide bog landscape under an open sky, with one line: this lift runs on solar energy.

Riding the lift, you can switch off from the city noise for a moment and enjoy the blue Estonian sky and green nature.

The results
